Candidate Sourcing Tools Used In ATS'

Many agencies use candidate sourcing tools to search within their Database + Job Boards. Why using Woo Data will benefit those sourcing tools

Sourcebreaker

  • SourceBreaker is an AI-driven recruitment platform that enhances recruiter productivity by automating candidate sourcing and business development processes. It enables recruiters to efficiently find and engage top talent across multiple sourcing platforms, including internal databases and external job boards, from a single interface.

    Key features of SourceBreaker include:

    • Search Builder: An AI-powered query builder that provides instant access to a vast array of job titles, keywords, synonyms, acronyms, and pre-built company lists, allowing recruiters to create precise searches quickly.

    • Multi-source Search: Integration with leading CRM platforms and CV databases enables real-time searches across various sources, streamlining the candidate sourcing process.

    • Smart Technology: Features like SmartSearch and SourceBots automate workflows by delivering ongoing pipelines of suitable candidates and real-time alerts as new profiles enter the market.

    • Automation: Automated SourceBots provide real-time alerts, job leads, and market insights, significantly increasing recruiter productivity by reducing manual search efforts.

In July 2022, SourceBreaker was acquired by Bullhorn, a cloud computing company specializing in staffing and recruiting solutions. This acquisition aimed to enhance Bullhorn's portfolio by integrating SourceBreaker's search and match technology, thereby improving recruiters' ability to find top talent and increasing overall productivity.

  • Some ATS' still have it but this sourcing tool was bought by Bullhorn and mainly used for Bullhorn customers
  • Using sourcebreaker without Woo data is hard to get good results because the titles the recruiters/consultants are trying to search for are not matching properly because the data is outdated in Bullhorn. This will obviously lead the recruiter/consultant to go directly to linkedin instead. So leveraging the up to date data with woo, Sourcebreaker will work properly
  • You can also attach job boards to sourcebreaker to search as well - also a huge pain point to not use their database with up to date data and rely heavily on job board spend

Textkernel

  • Some ATS' still use Textkernel but Bullhorn just bought Textkernel so now its called Textkernel by Bullhorn
  • They have automatching capabilities which is a huge advantage to have up to date data with it in order for it to work properly.
  • You can also attach job boards as well to textkernel to search - Again this is a huge pain point for agencies to keep spending on when not utilizing the database properly.
  • A huge selling point besides the data is that we can inject a new cv into the bullhorn candidate record which can then be indexed into textkernel directly. So effectively they will only be searching on fresh up to date data constantly.
